Ryan Thomas Freudenthal
USAF
We made this web page for Ryan as a way for us to brag as a proud family. I hope we don't embarrass Ryan too much but is that
not what family is suppose to do??
To friends and others who see this web site, please remember not only Ryan but all of the other fine people who have gone before
Ryan to serve our country. Remember some gave there lives, and more still are willing to serve.
Enjoy as we embrace Ryan !!

(Ryan before the USAF)  Picture was taken at a Halloween Party where Ryan
helps to teach karate.

Upon Police Academy Graduation Ryan
went to work for Pasco County Sheriff Dept. Here he is shaking hands with Bob White. (Head of the Sheriffs Dept.)

Ryan holds a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He started
at the age of 6 and to this day still teaches his art. Ryan has trained under Jim Graden (Bronze Medal) and David Bybee (Amateur kickboxing Champ).
Competed in 2002 at US Open in Orlando and placed 7th in the
weapons division. He loves teaching the young kids and showing them how the martial arts has help him.

Sorry Girls Ryan is engaged to a really sweat young Lady.
Here she is (Marie) with Ryan. Ya they are making plans to
get married. Just a note she also is a black belt.

Ryan Joins the US Air Force
 Graduation from Basic Training.
Before we can see Ryan we had to attend the do's and do not,s orientation.
Marie, Mom (Rita) Grandson (Derrick) Brother (Chad) Grandam, Granddad (Can't see) Sheila Family friend Dad (Jerry) Taking picture.

After orientation we gathered along the road side and cheered the Airman as they went for there last run together. Ryan is in the middle of the picture. We would not see Ryan until later the same day at the
coin ceremony.

Here at the Coin Ceremony each Airman receives a coin about the size of a silver dollar. The coin represents the pride in becoming part of the USAF. Look carefully you can see Ryan.

After the Coin ceremony we went down on the grounds and met up with Ryan. Ya we all had a few tears of
pride and joy for Ryan. Ryan had to stay on base so we went to lunch at a Bar-Ba-Q place. Had fun
catching up with what Ryan was doing. We would not see Ryan until the next day for the grand finale graduation. By the way the picture of the ol-guy is not Ryan's Dad, it's Grandpa who is USAF Retired Maj. Thomas H Freudenthal. That's right we named Ryan after his grandpa.

They lined up at the far end of the parade field, then marched in order past the reviewing stands. Ryan's Flight (Group) are the ones carrying the flags.

They then lined up in front of the viewing stands and did all those ceremonial things. Afterwards they where dismissed to their families.

Ryan with Family and his buddy Tom. Tom and Ryan worked together to get through boot camp.

OK off to see the place where Ryan spent 6 weeks living in. He has never keep a places so neat and clean. Note
the pride in his face as he shows off.

We got get off base to Sheila's house for some R&R and a few family pictures. Looks as if Ryan is ready for some ZZZZ'S

Off to Olive Garden Restraint to celebrate the big graduation. Ryan got several cards, a USAF ring from Marie, a USAF watch from grandpa (The same watch he received when he joined the USAF). Fun for all.

The next day we went off to see the Alamo & the River Walk. Met up with some of Marie's family and had a real Tex-Mex lunch on the
walk. Also stopped in at Star Bucks where Ryan loves his fancy coffee's.
